With a proud tradition going back over 140 years Stogumber Cricket Club is one of the preeminent clubs in West Somerset with without doubt one of the best grounds in the area and a welcoming licensed clubhouse we look forward to welcoming you during the season.
For the 2017 season we will be fielding two teams in The West Somerset Cricket League, which is played on Saturday afternoons between late April and early September, as well as a new Sunday League team.
The first XI will again be captained by Eli Hayes who will be looking to improve on last year’s runners up spot in division one, whilst the 2nd XI captained by Andy Godfrey is looking to push for promotion from division five. The new Sunday team captain is Dan Godfrey and with a blend of youth and experience we are hopeful of more silverware coming back to the SCG.
